It’s no secret that the Denver Nuggets were one of the best teams in the Western Conference, if not the entire NBA last season and fortunately for the Nuggets they haven’t had to make any serious moves this offseason due to the fact that they only really had to sign Chris “The Birdman” Anderson to keep their team intact. The one somewhat key player they did lose this offseason was Linus Kleiza who decided to take his sharp shooting overseas.

Now Kleiza wasn’t a huge piece to the puzzle like say Chauncey Billups or Carmelo Anthony, but he definitely spread the floor with his long range shooting and ability to get his own shot. Even if the Nuggets can’t find a bench replacement for Kleiza they will still be very competitive next season in the Western Conference, but fortunately they may have find someone to fill the void in swingman Wally Szczerbiak from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Denver Nuggets head coach George Karl loves veteran players and would love to add Wally Szczerbiak into the mix in Denver, but is weighing his options between quite a few players including Rashard McCants who continues to get bounced around the league.

Wally would fit in perfectly in Denver though as he fits the mold. Szczerbiak doesn’t exactly have the athletic ability of Kleiza, but he is a veteran with a great outside shot that could come in handy. Adding Wally won’t exactly change anything in sports betting terms, the Nuggets won’t exactly be all the buzz in sports betting forums or online betting, but they will still be very competitive in the ever improving Western Conference.
